Latoya Davis

MSW LCSW, CEO/ Founder of Social Network

about

My name is Latoya Davis. I have been working as a Mental Health Therapist for a duration of six years. I graduated with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and I also have a Graduate degree in Social Work. I am currently independently licensed in the state of Georgia. Outside of being a mental health provider I also served a duration of five years in the United States Military. During that time I worked as a Combat Medic.

As a therapist I specialize in working with children, teenagers, and adults. I specialize in working with the following diagnoses: General Mental Health, Anxiety and Panic Disorder, Depression, Grief and Loss, ADD/ ADHD, Trauma-related diagnoses. We will work together collaboratively to decrease all symptoms related to each mental health diagnosis with evidence-based modalities within different treatment approaches.

My biggest strengths as a therapist include building an authentic relationship with each client so that they can feel vulnerable and ensure that they can be true to themselves while receiving care. Each session I want each client to know that the time is for them and that we can process, solve, and treat each stressor or symptom together.

My treatment approaches are tailored to each individual need. At the beginning of each session, I will use a Client-centered approach to check in, and then we will filter through other modalities based on your mental health symptoms. I am experienced in working with Art therapy, Play therapy, CBT, Solution Focused, Narrative Therapy, DBT, and TF-CBT.
